Target Audience

The target audience that I am towards is a younger crowd; people from the age of 16 - 35. The reason why this is my target audience is because this age group is able to look after and provide for their self in a way, weather it is through a parent or guardian. Also, the will be more interested in the artist that will be featured and the music magazine, because I plan to incorporate up and coming artist and major club artists, so this target audience is who I think will be particularly interested in the magazine. My target audience will be in demographic category c2-c1 because they are still quite young. The psychographic could come under mainstreamer only because they are young and likely to keep up with latest trends in society ; this is more aimed to the younger age group of my target audience such as the 16-21 year olds. For the older age group the psychographic would probably be explorers because they are more open to trying new things and be more willing to read something new that they haven't heard about before and also want to stay current in entertainment culture.

when it comes to advertising brands that are trying to advertise it will tailored to a younger target audience so may be more urban and trendy advertisements, so the readers will actually take notice and will be more willing to consider purchasing the product.
