Music Magazine

My final product of my Music magazine!

cover

My aim was to make it look as professional as possible because I think it looks more polished and neater, also, it was part of the task to make it look professional so it will suit the conventions of a music magazine. From the planning of my other pages I noticed that I made adjustments to fit typical music magazine requirements, also, my planning was not that detailed so I missed things I should have added and I required.

Well form the planning of my masthead and the layout and content of my front cover has changed. I have kept the same name, however, I have changed the font to a bolder and larger font styling so it will be eye-catching and would be visible if the magazine was displayed on a shelve. Likewise, on my front cover I have added more cover lines that expected because my image is not a close up so I was able to fit more. I also added a puff as an extra convention for a music magazine and a short sell line as more of a catchphrase and it is branding for the magazine.

Content page

i have changed my content page layout because when i did an additional search of conventions of a content page i noticed mine would look less professional that i originally planned. so my new design is more structured. i have constructed my features by think of events and artist that are current but relatable to my magazine, so the ones i have chosen i think are suitable for my target audiences.

also, what i have included that was not in my plan was a sales at the top which includes the date and issue number, i still have used 4 content images so the views will have a variety to look at visually and suggest there is more than one feature in the music magazine
